Daniel Costa

Daniel Costa (* 1957 or 1958 in Maldonado ) is a Uruguayan politician and building contractor.

The married father of three children has been a member of the Partido Nacional since the late 1970s . He began his political career as an elected mandate holder ( Edil ) in the Junta Departamental of Maldonado. There he later held the office of chairman. In the 44th legislative period he sat several times as a deputy member of the Maldonado Department in the Cámara de Representantes . He then worked as a director at ANTEL and is currently managing director of a construction company. In the local elections in 2005 he also ran unsuccessfully for the office of Intendente of Maldonado. At that time he was assigned to the internal party sector of the Correntada Wilsonista within the Partido Nacional.
