Daniel Fiedler (born November 24, 1966 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is TV manager and has headed the Kultur Berlin editorial team at ZDF since January 1, 2013 .

Life

After graduating from high school, Daniel Fiedler studied theater studies, German literature, sociology and politics at the Free University of Berlin and at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg from 1989 to 1994 . From 1994 he worked as an acting dramaturge and head dramaturge at the Felix Bloch Erben publishing house in Berlin. In 2001 Daniel Fiedler switched to ZDF and became an advisor to the Director of European Satellite Programs Gottfried Langenstein . In 2006 he took over the management of the 3sat central editorial office and in 2007 became 3sat coordinator.

From September 2008, Daniel Fiedler was, in addition to his work for 3sat, coordinator of ZDFkultur and in this role was responsible for developing and managing the ZDF digital channel ZDFkultur . For this channel he developed programs such as Der Marker , Roche & Böhmermann and On Tape .

In autumn 2012, Daniel Fiedler was commissioned by ZDF to set up the cross-platform Kultur Berlin editorial team, which reorganized ZDF's cultural reporting from and about Berlin. The editorial office, which Fiedler heads, started its work in January 2013 in the capital studio of the ZDF Unter den Linden. The programs for which the editorial staff is responsible include a. Aspects , The Literary Quartet and the Berlin Contributions to Kulturzeit (3sat).
