Daniel Hartung

Daniel Hartung (born August 21, 1973 ) is a German television journalist, author and producer.

Life

Daniel Hartung studied German language and literature and history in Berlin before moving to various production companies in Hamburg and Cologne as an editor. From 2002 he worked for Spiegel TV , in 2008 he moved to the editorial office of the capital city office. Daniel Hartung has been self-employed since 2011 and works as a TV journalist and author a. a. for Spiegel TV, ZDF, rbb, RTL and VOX. Since 2012 he has been managing director of VP Full Program Film and TV Production, which mainly produces documentaries and reports on society, culture and history.

In 2018 he and Anne Morgan and Amai Haukamp received the Blue Panther in the Culture and Education category on the occasion of the award of the 30th Bavarian TV Prize for his work as the author of the report Man or Woman? - Living in the wrong body (VOX).
