Michael von Visbeck

Michael von Visbeck (* in the 14th or 15th century; † in the 15th century) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Michael von Visbeck was born as the son of Hermann von Visbeck and his wife Jutta von Bevern . In 1532 he was in a dispute with the later Archbishop and Elector of Trier, Johann von der Leyen , over the award of a prebend. Finally, in 1557, he received a cathedral praise from Münster . In the same year renounced it on his benefice. The sources do not provide any information about his further life.
