Daniel Landolf

Daniel Landolf (born December 31, 1959 ) is a Swiss manager and business economist and was the Chief Executive Officer of PostBus Switzerland AG from 1998 to the beginning of February 2018 .

Life

Landolf studied business administration in Bern and began his professional career in the field of foreign exchange trading at Credit Suisse . Later he worked in various marketing functions at the Swiss postal, telephone and telegraph companies.

Since 2001 he has been a member of the Executive Committee of Swiss Post , where he was responsible for the PostBus Group Division (PostBus Schweiz AG) and its foreign subsidiaries in France and in the Principality of Liechtenstein. He was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sensetalbahn AG.

He was also a member of the administration of the Swiss Travel Fund (Reka), a member of the committee and board member of the Swiss Association for Public Transport (VÖV), member of the executive committee and board of the LITRA Public Transport Information Service, board member of the Swiss Transport Economic Society, he was also Member of the Swiss Public Affairs Society (SPAG).

In connection with allegations of allegedly excessive compensation received at PostBus Switzerland Ltd, he brought the early retirement planned for the end of April forward to February 2018. In February 2019 it became known that Daniel Landolf and other post cadres were being investigated for performance fraud in this context. It is the presumption of innocence.
