Daniel Lemma

Daniel Lemma (born October 12, 1970 ) is a Swedish composer and singer with an Ethiopian migration background.

Life

Daniel Lemma is originally from Nyhamnslag, a small town in the southern Swedish province of Skåne . He lives in Gothenburg and has released six studio albums so far, which are musically located somewhere between soul , funk and roots reggae . Lemma recorded his greatest successes in 2001 with the song "If I used to love you" on his debut album Morning Train . The song became particularly popular as the theme song of the Swedish hit movie Jalla! Yeah! great notoriety. He himself played a supporting role as the silent friend of the main characters in the said film. Lemma was then musically present in the similarly successful comedy Kops . For a while, the singer-songwriter was a member of the band "Mo Blues". He has been pursuing his solo career since 2007. An international breakthrough has not yet been achieved. He wrote the song for the 22nd World Scout Jamboree 2011 in Sweden.
