Daniel Seth Loeb (born December 18, 1961 ) is an American entrepreneur and billionaire .
Life
He studied economics at Columbia University and worked as an investment broker for Citicorp and Warburg Pincus . He founded in 1995 and heads Third Point , which has over $ 14 billion in assets under management. Loeb lives in New York City and is married to Margaret Davidson Munzer. The self-made billionaire is with a fortune of 3.2 billion (January 2018) US dollars on The World's Billionaires list of the US business magazine Forbes .
