Daniel Quaiser
Daniel Quaiser (born June 7, 1975 in Adliswil ) is a Swiss designer , musician and singer ( baritone ).
biography
Quaiser received his first singing, oboe and piano lessons at the Wiedikon Cantonal School in Zurich . After graduating from high school in 1999, he studied at the Zurich University of the Arts with Lena Hauser (voice), Martina Bovet (specialist didactics), Hans Adolfsen ( accompanist ) and Daniel Fueter (song design). In 2005 he obtained the teaching diploma for solo singing and completed his diploma examination in music education with distinction. For this he received the 1st prize from the Werner and Berti Alter Foundation . He also got a teaching position at the Zurich Conservatory.
Quaiser continued his studies in the concert class of Scot Weir (vocals), Paul Suits ( accompaniment ) and Martin Zeller ( chamber music ). In 2007 he obtained the concert diploma. He also attended master classes with Margreet Honig, Wolfgang Holzmair, Oliver Widmer and Jan Schultsz. His repertoire includes songs, song cycles, oratorios and opera arias from all eras as well as popular songs, folk songs and his own compositions.
Quaiser has appeared at concerts, chamber music recitals and recitals both as a soloist and with the vocal ensemble and the chamber choir of the Zurich University of the Arts under the direction of Anna Jelmorini, Pascal Mayer, Stephen Smith, Karl Scheuber and Beat Schäfer. He also gave concerts with his own vocal band Take Heart , with which he had appearances on Swiss radio DRS and Swiss television . Concerts and CD recordings with his own songs followed. 2008 14 songs of love: Theater Stok , Zurich; Villa Boveri , Baden. 2009/2010 Human Children : Kulturhaus Helferei, Zurich; Praxiskeller, Rothrist; Reformed Church, Adliswil; Zunfthaus zur Waag, Zurich.
From 2007 to 2018 Quaiser worked alongside his musical work as Creative Director at the Swiss advertising agency KGT Quaiser. In 2018 Quaiser founded his own agency for design and music.
