Daniel Scholz (musician)

Daniel Scholz (* 1973 in Leipzig ) is a German composer and music producer .

Life

The music producer, who now lives in Berlin, started out as a DJ in the 1990s . Under the names "DJ Leinad" and "Milkman" he released his first pieces of music on vinyl in the mid-1990s. In 1995 he remixed the song “How How” for the Swiss music duo Yello , which was the first time he got a big stir. Together with Matthias Tanzmann , he started the deep house project Gamat 3000 in 1999 , which made its debut on Steve Bug's label Dessous Recordings . In 2001 Scholz moved to Berlin. There he founded the music company Sound Chateau together with Robert Wässer , which became known among other things through the collaboration with Thomas Anders . In 2004 Daniel Scholz and Robert Wässer produced the song Schnappi , written by Iris Gruttmann , which was number 1 in the German charts for 10 weeks.

After that, Scholz composed and produced mainly music in the areas of electronic dance music, film and advertising.
