Daniel "Dani" Weder (born June 1, 1957 ) is a Swiss manager . From 2007 to 2017 he headed the Swiss state air navigation service provider Skyguide .

Life

Neither worked for the airline Swissair - and after its grounding - for the successor company Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS). Most recently, he was Vice President Marketing in Switzerland at SWISS. In 2007 he succeeded Alain Rossier and Francis Schubert (ad interim) at Skyguide .

Daniel Weder would have been affected by the federal popular initiative “Pro Service public” , which was rejected on June 5, 2015 . In the referendum campaign, it was argued that a lower income for Neither could lead to "air traffic control wages slipping".

As the managing director of Skyguide as a federal company, Daniel Weder's remuneration was subject to the requirements of Art. 6a of the Federal Personnel Act (BPG). In 2015, the remuneration was CHF 548,226 including CHF 132,841 bonus and plus occupational pension benefits of CHF 175,205.

On July 1, 2017, Weder was replaced by Alex Bristol due to early retirement . Since then, Dani Weder has been an independent board member, consultant and speaker.
