Jennifer Kickert
Jennifer Kickert (born May 20, 1962 in Bangkok , Thailand ) is an Austrian politician ( Greens ).
Political career
Jennifer Kickert was district councilor in the Vienna district of Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus from 1996 to 2003 and from 1996 to 2001 the Greens' club chairwoman in the district. After Jennifer Kickert had been deputy district chairman in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus from 2005 to 2010 , she moved to the Federal Council on November 25, 2010 , of which she was a member until October 20, 2011. On October 21, 2011 she was sworn in as a member of the Vienna City Council. Jennifer Kickert is the first openly lesbian MP there. In 2012, Kickert took part in the mediation for the re-use of the Otto Wagner Hospital (Steinhof) on the Baumgartner Höhe in Vienna as a representative of the Vienna city government . She advocates university use of the area.
