Daniel Zugg

Daniel Zugg (born February 19, 1993 in Bludenz ) is an Austrian ski mountaineer and reigning Austrian champion in the sprint discipline (2019).

Career

The Vorarlberg Daniel Zugg was active in his youth in the sport of mountain biking and 2011 he missed the qualification to the national team only a few seconds.
In 2012 he began to ski mountaineering in the armed forces as a basic military man. He has been skiing mountaineering for the Austrian national team since 2013. In September 2017 Zugg was the first ski mountaineer to be accepted into one of the Army Training Centers (HLSZ09). Daniel Zugg became Austrian champion in ski mountaineering in the sprint discipline in February 2019.

The trained ropeway technician and apprentice trainer lives in St. Gallenkirch in the Montafon .
