Daniela Platsch

Daniela Platsch (* 1981 ) is a German-Austrian politician. She is the political manager and board member of the Austrian party Wandel . She ran for democracy in Europe - DiEM25 in the 2019 European elections in second place on the list, after Yanis Varoufakis .

Life

Daniela Platsch was born in Austria and grew up in Germany. Her mother is Slovak - on her website, Platsch states that she was “raised to be a European” by her mother. Platsch has both German and Austrian citizenship. The economist studied economics (at the University of Vienna ) and local economic development (at the London School of Economics ).

European elections 2019

Daniela Platsch stood as a candidate in the 2019 European elections on the list for Democracy in Europe - DiEM25. Yanis Varoufakis took first place on the list .
