Danielle Carruthers
Danielle Carruthers (born December 22, 1979 in Paducah , Kentucky ) is an American hurdler whose special route is the 100-meter distance .
As a student at Indiana University Bloomington , she was NCAA vice champion three times : in 2001 outdoors over 100 m hurdles and in 2002 and 2003 indoors over 60 m hurdles .
In 2005 and 2006 she was US indoor champion over 60 m hurdles. At the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Moscow in 2006 , she was fourth in the 60 m hurdles.
In 2011 she qualified as US runner-up for the World Athletics Championships in Daegu , where she won the silver medal.
Danielle Carruthers is trained by Rana Reider.
