Danielle Galligan

Danielle "Dani" Galligan (* 1. December 1992 in Dublin as Danielle Ghouligan ) is an Irish actress .

Life

The Catholic educated Galligan comes from the Dublin suburb of Rathfarnham. Her mother is a beauty therapist who runs a salon and beauty school.

Galligan was a member of the Young People's Theater from 2005 to 2011 and attended Loreto High School Beaufort. She received the Ena Burke Scholarship to Betty Ann Norton Theater School. She then studied theater and theater studies at Trinity College Dublin and completed an acting training at the Lir Academy. In 2015 she graduated with a bachelor's degree.

After graduating from Lir Academy, Galligan worked on various stage productions at a number of well-known Irish theaters. She also stood on stage herself and embodied various characters.

Galligan began her film career in 2016. In the beginning, she mainly appeared as an actress for short films . In 2019, casts followed in the US television series Krypton and in the final season of Game of Thrones .

Currently (spring 2020) she is in front of the camera for casts in the series Shadow and Bone and Cold Courage .
