Dankward
Dankward also Dankwart († on September 26, 1063) was Bishop of Brandenburg from 1049 to 1063 .
Life
Dankward received the ordination as bishop before October 19, 1049, because on that day he was bishop at the synod of Leo IX. to Mainz . He was a friend and companion of Archbishop Adalbert of Bremen . Research by Breßlau showed that he died around September 26, 1063.
