Bohumil Vlasák

Bohumil Vlasák (born February 20, 1871 in Příbram , † May 31, 1945 in Prague ) was a Czechoslovak lawyer, economist, politician and finance minister.

Life, political career

Bohumil Vlasák attended a grammar school in Příbram and then studied at the Karl Ferdinand University in Prague, where he received his doctorate in law on November 21, 1893. From 1895 to 1898 he worked at the State Finance Directorate in Prague, from 1898 to 1918 at the Ministry of Finance in Vienna. Then until 1934 (with the exception of the time as finance minister) he worked as a manager in specialist departments of the finance ministry. Vlasák held the following government offices:
