Vladimír Hanačík

Vladimír Hanačík (born November 23, 1861 in Brno , † January 11, 1954 in Prague ) was a Czechoslovak lawyer , politician and finance minister .

Political career

After 1883 Vladimír Hanačík worked in the Czech State Finance Directorate in Prague, from 1899 in the Ministry of Finance in Vienna. From 1911 to 1919 he was deputy chairman of the regional finance directorate in Brno and Prague, in 1919 he became chairman of the same in Prague and took part in the reorganization of the Czechoslovak finance administration.

From March 21, 1921, Hanačík was finance minister in the Jan Černý I government for six months and at the same time chairman of the banking committee of the bank office at the Ministry of Finance. During this time, as well as after leaving the ministry, he retained the office of chairman of the state finance directorate.
