Danmarks Vej- og Bromuseum ( German  Danish Road and Bridge Museum) was a museum in the Danish town of Holbæk , which thematized the history of Danish bridges and roads. It only existed from June 2011 to August 2012. The exhibits came from the collections of the former transport museum Danmarks Vejmuseum , which was located on the island of Farø from 1991 to 1996 , and the Dansk Vejhistorisk Selskab company . The complex also included reconstructions of historic streets from the Viking Age and the Middle Ages.

The museum was under the Danish Ministry of Transport. Its establishment was based on an agreement of November 5, 2003 between the Fogh Rasmussen government and the factions of Dansk Folkeparti , Det Radliche Venstre and Kristdemokraterne . The opening took place only seven and a half years later on June 21, 2011 in the presence of Museum Director Christian Wedell-Neergaard and Transport Minister Hans Christian Schmidt . The new museum building and exhibition cost 11 million DKK . At the beginning of March 2012, Schmidt's successor Henrik Dam Kristensen withdrew the museum's annual public subsidy of DKK 2.5 million as part of austerity measures. The exhibition had to be closed on August 30, 2012.

The building could neither be sold nor given a new use in the following years because the Danish state and the municipality of Holbæk could not agree on the modalities.
