Life

Danny Lloyd made only two films in total. His first film was the horror film Shining, directed by Stanley Kubrick, starring alongside Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall , who played his parents. Danny was six years old when filming began and for a few years did not know that he had starred in a horror film as Kubrick kept him away from the subject of the film. He didn't see the full film until he was 17. He was selected from over 5000 applicants because he was able to concentrate for a long time.

He took on a second role in 1982 in the American television film Will: The Autobiography of G. Gordon Liddy , German title: Nixon's right hand - The case of G. Gordon Liddy . As an adult, Lloyd decided that he didn't want to take up the acting profession. He works as a teacher today. Since 2007 he has been an Associate Professor of Biology at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in Kentucky .
