Danny Ross

Danny Ross (* unknown; † 1995 ) was an American country musician and label owner .

Life

Ross founded the record label Minor Records in Houston , Texas in 1956 with his brother Minor . Ross' first single You're The One / I Believe You're True was released on Minor in the middle of the year, but it was not a great success. In the next few years Ross recorded more records with Minor, of which the single Someone became his biggest hit and got a lot of airplay . After the song he also named his band, the Someones . In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Ross was a member of the Houston Town & Country Show and was signed to D Records .

In 1967 Minor was closed and Ross played a few albums for Stoneway in the 1970s. He died in 1995.
