Danny Wieck (born November 6, 1991 in Stralsund ) is a German swimming athlete in lifeguarding . He is a member of SC Wiesbaden 1911

successes

At the age of 21 he won the World Games 2013 in Cali for the first time in the 4x25m puppet relay and the 4x50m obstacle relay. In 2014 he became world champion in the discipline of 50m rescuing a puppet, puppet swimming and 100m combined rescue exercise in Montpellier. In 2015 he won the European championship in 50 m puppet swimming. In 2017 he won two gold medals at the World Games in Wroclaw, in the 50 m puppet rescue and in the 4 x 25 m relay. He improved his own world record set in May 2017.

Awards

On October 13, 2017, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier awarded him the Silver Laurel Leaf for his athletic achievements .
