Danuta Rosani

Danuta Zofia Rosani-Gwardecka (born April 30, 1951 in Starogard Gdański ) is a former Polish athlete .

The discus thrower was Polish champion in 1974, 1976 and 1978. She improved the Polish national record five times, most recently in 1976 to 62.60 m. In the same year she also took part in the Olympic Games . In Montreal she made it into the final, but she was tested positive for anabolic steroids during doping control and was disqualified. Rosani was the first doping case in Olympic athletics.
