origin
The name comes from the canton of Vaud and was mentioned in Vufflens-le-Château at the end of the 15th century . The family settled in Bremblens and Morges in the course of the 16th century and received citizenship in Lausanne in 1603 .
Various personalities from the fields of politics, economics, medicine, science and theology emerged from the family. At the end of the 18th century, a branch of the family settled in Genoa .
