Dario Lochner (born October 29, 1995 in Schwaz ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

Lochner began his career with the youth from ULZ Schwaz at the age of 8. At the age of 10 he moved to the Paulinum high school and thus to the handball after-school club at the UHC Paulinum. Already during his school education, Lochner began his career as a professional handball player at Medalp Handball Tirol, where despite his young age he was able to contribute to the runner-up title in the second highest division in Austria. The sponsorship license granted to him enabled him to get a taste of the handball league Austria at the first division club Sparkasse Schwaz while gaining experience in the HIT Innsbruck and the handball Bundesliga. The circle runner is now playing his fourth season in Austria's first division for Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol.
