Darko Gol (* 1954 ) is a German sculptor from Zaberfeld .

Gol was born in the former Yugoslavia (Croatia). He is self-taught and has been sculpting with various materials such as stone, metal and wood since he was 15. He has been running his own studio in Zaberfeld since 1994 , where he mainly produces tombs.

Around 1990 he belonged to the Heilbronn artist group Pilum . It caused a stir in 1995 when its predator ant object was stolen at CeBIT . As part of EXPO 2000 , he created the Expo stone in front of the town center in Sternenfels . In 2000 he restored some historical tombs of the Lords of Sternenfels and a war memorial in the cemetery in Zaberfeld on behalf of the community . In Zaberfeld you can find his sculpture Am Rande in the middle of COR-TEN steel and a stainless steel disc, which symbolizes the four Zaberfeld districts and the three neighboring districts and was unveiled on the occasion of the completion of the town center renovation in May 2005. Other objects by Darko Gol can be seen in Zaberfeld at the exit towards Leonbronn . In June 2007 the lying sculpture Seewächterin at the bathing lake Ehmetsklinge was unveiled.
