Darkstep
In Darkstep is an electronic dance music. It came out of one of the many sub-genres of drum and bass that emerged in the 1990s , Techstep .
The Darkstep consists of dark-looking musical elements from the Dark Jungle as well as fast breakbeats that are common for drum and bass . The dark harmony is mostly underlined by dark music recordings from the area of the ambient genre, here the speed of the ambient song to be used is greatly increased or recorded by mixdown .
Typical samples for the above Genres are also known from the Amen Break , but are often reminiscent of Neurofunk , another sub-genre of Drum and Bass. Darkstep is basically characterized by high-energy drums and distinctive basslines, but also uses the chromatic scale to create the dark sound of this subgenre.
