Darmstadt Center for IT Security
The Darmstadt Center for IT Security (DZI) bundled the various IT security activities of the TU Darmstadt from 2002 to 2008 . Work areas were u. a. the quantum information , cryptography , mobile security, artificial immune systems, the hardware / software codesign of Crypto chips, the architecture of reliable systems and legal and philosophical considerations.
The DZI, founded by Claudia Eckert and Johannes Buchmann , was selected by the Germany - Land of Ideas initiative as a place in the Land of Ideas and awarded in 2007.
In 2008 the DZI was merged into the LOEWE CASED (Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt).
