Darryl Scott Meadows (* 15. February 1961 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is a former American American football poker players. He played two seasons as defensive back for the Houston Oilers in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

Meadows played college football at the University of Toledo for the Toledo Rockets from 1980 to 1982 . In 1980 he still played on the position of defensive back and scored two interceptions . In 1981 and 1982 he played in the position of defensive lineman , scoring two and one interception, carrying the only one back to a touchdown from 1982. In his last year he was elected to the First-Team All- MAC .

After he was not selected in the 1983 NFL Draft , Meadows signed the Houston Oilers on June 2, 1983 . He was released on August 31, 1983. In the same week, however, he was signed again after the placement of Wilson Whitley on the Injured Reserve List cleared a squad spot . On August 21, 1985, Meadows was released from the Oilers. On August 15, 1986, he was released from the New York Jets .
