The big book of the trumpet. Instrument, Geschichte, Trompeterlexikon is a multi-volume work on the musical instrument trumpet and its history, as well as an encyclopedia with biographies of famous trumpeters. The two volumes with illustrations published by the arranger, trumpeter and band leader Friedel Keim in 2005 and 2009 were published by Schott Music with the ISBN 3-7957-0530-4 (volume 1) and the ISBN 978-3-7957-0677- 7 (Volume 2); in 2015 a third volume was self-published.
