action

Röschen loves Peter, but Paul refuses the two of them to marry. Although married, Paul has intentions of his own; he is constantly looking for her near, flirting with roses and giving her flowers. As he drives Röschen through the garden in his wheelbarrow while laughing loudly, the two overheard the angry neighbor.

The neighbor once had the intention of marrying Paul, but Martha got ahead of her. That's why the neighbor is still jealous of Martha and wants to tell her about Paul's "shameful activities". However, Röschen and Paul had noticed the intentions of the neighbor and are now including Peter and Martha in their funny hustle and bustle. Peter is hugged and kissed in public by Röschen and Paul drives his wife around the garden with a big laugh in the wheelbarrow.

When the neighbor wanted to publicly denounce Paul's immoral behavior and talk about driving a wheelbarrow, Martha shouts “That was me!”; When the kissing comes up, Peter calls out loudly “That was me!” The protest of the neighbor is useless and everyone laughs at her. Since Paul has given up his resistance, Peter and Röschen can now marry. The curtain fell amid cheers for this announcement.
