Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet ( デ ー ト ・ ア ・ ラ イ ブ フ ラ グ メ ン ト デ ー ト ・ ア ・ バ レ ッ ト Dēto A Raibu Furagumento Dēto A Baretto ) is an offshoot of the Date-A-Live franchise from Kōshi in the form of a light since 2017 -Novel series in the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko of the publishing house Fujimi Shobō appears.

Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet follows the nature spirit ( Japanese "seirei" 精 霊 ) Kurumi Tokisaki. One day Kurumi meets Empty, a girl with no memories . Over time, it turns out that Empty comes from another world. To kill the mysterious girl, Kurumi leads her to a school. Once there, they meet other students who turn out to be half-spirits and try to fight each other.

Light novel
The light novel series is created by the author Yuichirō Higashide under the supervision of Date-A-Live creator Kōshi Tachibana . The drawings come from the illustrator NOCO. The series appears in the magazine Fujimi Fantasia Bunko of the publishing house Fujimi Shobō and has so far produced five volumes.
Anime
On September 17, 2019, two new anime projects were announced for the Date-A-Live franchise. Six days later it was announced that one of the projects was an implementation of Date A Bullet. In this project, Asami Sanada , who also voiced her voice in the main series Kurumi, speaks the protagonist Kurumi Tokisaki.
Further details about the planned anime were announced on March 21, 2020. Accordingly, the anime is being produced in the GEEK TOYS studio, directed by Jun Nakagawa , who was already the director of the film for High School Fleet . The screenplay is written by novelist Yuichirō Higashide while Naoto Nakamura creates the character design. In mid-May 2020, more voice actors and the name of the project, Dead or Bullet , were introduced. It has been announced that the anime will be showing in Japanese theaters. On July 10, 2020 it was announced that the implementation would take place in the form of two feature films, Dead or Bullet and Nightmare or Queen . Both films are scheduled for 2020.
