The Dauphin Pond is a frozen freshwater pond in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Wright Valley it is located in the Labyrinth Plain near the southwestern extension of the Healy Trough and 300 m east of the end of the Upper Wright Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the pool in 2004 after the Eurocopter Dauphin HH-65A , a United States Coast Guard helicopter , which landed here on January 20, 2004.
