David Paul Boreanaz [ bɔːriˈænəz ] (born May 16, 1969 in Buffalo , New York ) is an American actor .

Career

Boreanaz played a friend of Kelly Bundy on the 1993 series A Terrible Family . Then he played from 1997 to 1999 in the first to third season of the series Buffy - In the Vampire Slayer the "good" (sometimes bad) vampire Angelus, who calls himself Angel since his stay in the USA. He was the main character in Angel , a spin-off from the series. He also starred in the movie Scream If You Can (2001). Since the fall of 2005, David Boreanaz was part of the regular cast of the crime series Bones , where he appeared as FBI agent Seeley Booth. Boreanaz's German voice actor is Boris Tessmann . Boreanaz played an important role in the video clip for Dido's song White Flag .

David Boreanaz grew up in Philadelphia . In June 1997 he married his Irish girlfriend Ingrid Quinn. The marriage was divorced in 1999. Boreanaz has been married to model Jaime Bergman since November 24, 2001 . The couple live in Los Angeles and have a son and daughter.
