David Bower

David Bower (born 1969 in Wrexham , Wales ) is a Welsh actor .

The deaf actor is best known for his role in Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), in which he plays David , Hugh Grant's brother . Since then he has remained active as an actor in various media such as theater and radio. Despite the success of four weddings and one death, he was rarely seen in film and television roles , as according to his statements there are hardly any roles for deaf actors. He heads the Signdance Collective , a British group of deaf musicians, actors and dancers who perform together.
