David Cage
David De Gruttola (born June 9, 1969 in Mulhouse ), better known under his pseudonym David Cage , is a French musician and video game designer . He is the head of the video game developer studio Quantic Dream .
Act
Cage brings together most of the company's leading roles and is responsible for game development. He is the founder, chairman of the board , chief financial officer , director , game designer, screenwriter , project manager and more. As a professional musician , he founded Totem Interactive in 1993, which works in the fields of music and sound production. He has worked as a freelancer in many television, film and video game productions and is involved in various soundtracks.
His previous work (under the name De Gruttola) included music in video games. He was involved in the soundtrack of video games such as Cheese Cat-Astrophe Starring Speedy Gonzales (1995), Timecop (1995) and Hardline (1997).
David Cage founded Quantic Dream in 1997 and was responsible for the development of the five games the studio has released to date: The Nomad Soul (1999), Fahrenheit (2005), Heavy Rain (2010), Beyond: Two Souls (2013) and Detroit: Become Human (2018).
