David Cortés Caballero (born August 29, 1979 in Llerena ) is a Spanish football player who plays for Real Saragossa in the Spanish Primera División .

Player career

David Cortés started his career as a professional footballer with CF Extremadura in the Spanish Segunda División , where he prevented goals between 1999 and 2002. From 2002 to 2006 he was under contract with RCD Mallorca , with whom he achieved his greatest success so far in 2003 - winning the Copa del Rey . Despite a regular place, David Cortés left the Mallorcans in 2006 to join the Madrid suburban club Getafe FC .

He was also able to reach the final of the Copa del Rey with Getafe in 2007 , but his team lost 1-0 to Sevilla FC . After four years he left Getafe again and came to Real Saragossa via Hércules Alicante and Grenada FC in 2013 .
