David Diamond (journalist)

David Diamond is an American journalist .

He wrote regularly for the New York Times , Business Week and Wired and was best known for the book Just for Fun - How a Freak Revolutionized the Computer World , which he wrote with Linus Torvalds about the development of the Linux operating system and which was published in 2001. Torvalds and Diamond are considered good friends.

Currently, Diamond Executive Editor of Red Herring magazine and lives with his wife and daughter in Kentfield ( California ).
