David Dixon
David Dixon (born October 28, 1947 in Derby ) is a British actor and screenwriter .
Life
Dixon moved to Nottingham with his family in 1959 . As an actor, he played predominantly in television series , his best-known role is that of Ford Prefect in the BBC TV series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (1981). In the later episodes of the BBC radio series of the same name , he speaks a few roles, but not those of Ford Prefect. Since the late 1960s, he played in various British television productions, including Prince John in The Legend of Robin Hood (1975).
