David double rider
David Doppelreiter (born December 20, 1979 in Gleißenfeld ) is an Austrian rally driver .
David Doppelreiter was originally a snowboarder and in the 1995/96 season he became Austria's youth class II champion . In 1997 he took part in the World Youth Championship. In 1998 Doppelreiter switched to motorsport as a rally driver . In 1999 he competed in the VW Lupo Cup and in 2000 and 2001 in the Austrian State Rally Championship . In 2002 he drove in the Junior World Rally Championship and in the World Rally Championship . In 2003 he moved to the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship and in 2005 he drove a Škoda Octavia again in the Austrian State Rally Championship.
