David Ejoke

David Ejoke (born November 8, 1939 in Umukwata , Delta ) is a retired Nigerian sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was eliminated over 200 m in the preliminary run.

In 1965 he won silver over 200 m at the Africa Games .

The following year he won bronze over 220 yards at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston in 1966 . Over 100 yards he finished fourth, and in the 4-by-110-yard relay and the 4-by-440-yard relay, he was sixth each.

At the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968, he reached the quarter-finals over 200 m and was eliminated in the first round of the 4-by-400-meter relay .

  • 220 yards: 20.8 s, April 9, 1965, Lagos (corresponds to 20.7 s over 200 m)
