David Charles Evans, Baron Evans of Watford (* 30th November 1942 ) is a British entrepreneur , business leaders and politicians of the Labor Party , which since 1998 as Peer Life Member of the House of Lords is.

Life

After school education Evans completed a vocational training for printers and founded in 1971 his own print shop - and publishing company Centurion Press Group, whose CEO he remained by 2002. At the same time he worked as a manager of numerous companies in the printing and publishing industry as well as other industries and was, among others, Chairman of the Board of Senate Consulting Ltd, Partnership Sourcing Ltd, TU ink Ltd, Personnel Publications Ltd, Redactive Publishing Ltd, Indigo Publishing Ltd, Evans Mitchell Books and a member of the supervisory board of Care Capital plc and member of the board of KISS 100 FM.

By a letters patent dated July 28, 1998, Evans was named as a life peer entitled Baron Evans of Watford , of Chipperfield in the County of Hertfordshire; raised to the nobility . Shortly after its introduction was carried out ( Introduction ) as a member of the House of Lords . In the House of Lords he is a member of the Labor Party. During his membership in the House of Lords, he was a liaison member of the House of Lords with the Department of Commerce and Industry between 1999 and 2004.
