David Francis Battye Le Breton CBE (born March 2, 1931 in London ) is a British diplomat .

Life

As a consultant and head of the firm ( english Counselor and Head of Chancery ) in Nairobi worked David Francis Battye Le Breton from 1978 to 1981. David Francis Battye Le Breton was posted to the West African Gambia by the Thatcher government in 1981 as British High Commissioner , replacing Eric N. Smith . His tenure in Gambia ended in 1984 and was succeeded by John Donald Garner .

Head of the Coordination Division of the Commonwealth in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office ( English Head Commonwealth Co-ordination Department, Foreign and Commonwealth Office ), he was then used from 1984 to 1986. Then Head of nationality and contract ( English Head Nationality and Treaty Department ) Later he was from 1986 to 1987. Financial consultant at Allied Dunbar Assurance PLC .

David Francis Battye Le Breton is the son of FH Le Breton, MC, and Elisabeth, (Peter), Le Breton (nee Trevor-Battye). He married Patricia June Byrne, Married in 1961.
