David Hoffmann (born February 26, 1980 in Kirchheimbolanden ; pseudonym: The Hoff ) is a German bodybuilder .

Life

Hoffmann was born the first of three sons to a psychologist and a teacher. After his first sporting activities in judo, he came to bodybuilding in 1995. He trained for a year in a home studio that he set up himself, then started training in a public gym. He made his stage debut in 2000 when he won the junior class at the NRW championship in Duisburg . The overall victory at the German Championships of the DBFV in 2008 was another milestone in his sporting career. Since 2008 he has successfully represented German amateur bodybuilding at international championships. In 2015 he achieved the overall victory at the Amateur Olympia in Malaga. With this victory Hoffmann received a Pro-Card .

He holds a degree in business administration and was co-owner of a sales organization for nutritional supplements and fitness accessories. He currently runs two sports studios in Weißenthurm and Koblenz.
