David Holmes (* 1981 ) is a British actor and stuntman .

Life

Holmes was the stunt double for Daniel Radcliffe in the role of Harry Potter in the first six films of Harry Potter . Holmes was also accidentally named for the role of Adrian Pucey in the credits of the first film in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001), but Pucey was actually played by Scott Fearn.

During rehearsals for the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in January 2009, one of his stunts failed, which damaged his spine . He hoped to continue working, but it has since been reported that Holmes was paralyzed and dependent on a wheelchair.
