David Htan (born May 13, 1990 in Kachin State ) is a Myanmar soccer player .

Career

David Htan signed his first contract with Yangon United in 2009 . The club from Rangoon played in the first division, the Myanmar National League . By mid-2018 he had played 264 top division games for the club. In 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015 he was the champion of his country with the club. In 2011 he won General Aung San Shield with the club when they defeated Nay Pyi Taw FC 5-0 in the final. He won the MFF Charity Cup in 2012 and 2014. In June 2018 he left Yangon United. League rival Shan United signed him. With the club from Taunggyi he became champions in 2019. In the final of the MFF Charity Cup he won 4-3 on penalties against his former club Yangon United.

He has been an integral part of the Myanmar national team since 2012 . So far he has played 64 times for his country.
