David Jandl (born July 15, 1984 in Oberwart ) is a former Austrian basketball player. He was an Austrian team player for many years.

career

Jandl made the leap to professional with his hometown club Oberwart Gunners , in the 2003/04 and 2004/05 seasons he was awarded the title of best Austrian player in the Bundesliga . After a detour to the German Bundesliga ( Gießen 46ers ), he returned to his home country, first playing in Fürstenfeld, then briefly in St. Pölten, before gaining international experience in the third Spanish division again.

From 2008 to 2011 he was back in St. Pölten's team, followed by two years in his homeland in Oberwart. From 2013 Jandl was active for Mattersburg Rocks in the second Bundesliga and retired from basketball in 2016 in order to devote himself entirely to his job as a stonemason and his family. In January 2017 (and until the end of the 2016/17 season) Jandl returned to the basketball floor in Fürstenfeld.
