David Jobin (born September 27, 1981 in Bern ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who played for SC Bern in the National League A from 1998 to 2017 and won the Swiss championship five times .

Career

David Jobin from Bern, who played the position of defender, played in his youth for HC Franches-Montagnes before moving to SC Bern as a junior player , for whom he made his debut in the National League A during the 1998/99 season . In the same season he collected also match practice in Canton rivals EHC Biel in the National League B . During the 1999/2000 game year he finally asserted himself as a regular at SC Bern, for whom he regularly appeared in the following seasons.

The right-hand shooting player won the Swiss championship five times with the Stadtberner Verein . His contract with SC Bern ran until the end of the 2016/17 season , after which he ended his career.

International

For Switzerland , Jobin took part in the U18 Junior European Championship in 1998 , the U18 Junior World Championship in 1999 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 1999 , 2000 and 2001 . For the senior selection he was on the ice several times, but without establishing himself as a regular in the long term.
