David Johnson (sprinter, 1931)

David Johnson (born December 8, 1931 ) is a retired Australian sprinter .

At the British Empire Games in Auckland in 1950 he won over 220 yards silver, eliminated over 100 yards in the run-up and won the Australian 4-by-110-yard relay.

He set his personal best over 220 yards of 21.5 s (equivalent to 21.4 s over 200 m ) on February 25, 1950 in Sydney .
