David Kotey
David Kotey (* 7. December 1950 in Accra , Ghana ) is a former Ghanaian boxer in the featherweight .

On February 5, 1966, he made his debut with a unanimous point win over six rounds against Famous Lartey successfully. On September 20, 1975, he defeated Rubén Olivares by split judge decision and was thereby world champion of the WBC . He defended the belt against Flipper Uehara by TKo and against Shig Fukuyama by knockout and lost it on November 6, 1976 to Danny Lopez .
